SukiSuki — Privacy Policy

SukiSuki (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a private space for two people to share notes, memories, milestones, and other little things — just between the two of you. We care about keeping your data small, private, and in your control. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have.

What we collect

We only collect what the app needs to work. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

Account information

• Email address — to create and secure your account and to send verification and password-reset emails.
• Display name — the name you choose to show your partner.

Content you create (stored privately in your shared room)

• Love notes, memories/journal entries, milestones, wish list and bucket-list items, “promises”, moods, and important dates (anniversary, birthday month/day, the day you met).
• Places you pin on the map. These are locations you tap manually — the app does not access your device’s GPS or track your location.
• One optional room photo, which is compressed on your device before upload.

Technical information

• A user ID assigned by our service provider (Firebase) to identify your account.
• A device notification token, if you enable push notifications, so we can deliver them.

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, browsing activity, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use your data to track you across other apps or services.

How we use your information

We use it only to provide the app: to sign you in, keep your shared room in sync between you and your partner, send account and (optional) notification messages, and maintain the features described above. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Passwords

Your password is never stored by us in readable form. It is handled directly by our authentication provider (Firebase Authentication), which stores it only as a salted, hashed value. We cannot see or retrieve your password.

Who can see your data

• Your partner — the person in your shared room can see the content in that room. That’s the point of the app.
• No one else. There is no public profile, no social feed, and nothing is shared outside your room. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
• Our service provider (Google Firebase) stores and processes data on our behalf as described below.
